Bonjour! I grew up in Centertown, Missouri. I earned my
Bachelor's Degree in French from Truman State University. I also earned a
Master's degree in French Education from TSU. I have lived and studied in
France and in Québec. This is my ninth year teaching French at
Mahomet-Seymour. During the 2007-2008 academic year, I will be teaching French
IA (7th grade), French IB (8th grade), French III at MSHS, and Introduction to
World Languages (6th grade).
I live in Champaign, Illinois with my husband, Matthew, and our 3 year-old
son.
To provide a strong foundation for achieving proficiency in French,
through a communicative classroom setting; to promote an
understanding of the culture of the French-speaking world; and most
of all, to encourage respect for and appreciation of the diversity
of all world cultures.
