What do I do if I am absent?

When you return from an absence, check the assignment board and the Missing
Work trays. You will find any missed worksheets in these trays. If the
assignment was in the Literature book or the Grammar book, it will be written
on the assignment board. If you still have questions about what you
missed, ask a friend or come talk to me after class.

Do you accept late work?

Yes...I accept any and all late work. It may be that it is so late that the
highest score you will lose quite a few points but it is ALWAYS better to
turn it in for some points than to receive a zero.

Do we have to read in this class?

Of course! Throughout the year, each student will be required to be
independently reading. Each student will sign a contract with me each
quarter that explains how reading is a large part of your grade for Language
Arts.
