“ANGER IS A CONDITION WHERE THE TONGUE WORKS FASTER THAN THE MIND.”
Anger takes over your body and you sometimes can’t control it. You just say
things that you don’t mean because your are so stressed out. Later you feel
really bad because of what you said.
When we are angry we often say things that we will look back on and wonder
why we said that.
People often say things before they think about it. People often say rude or
mean comments to others without taking into consideration other’s feelings.
Righteous anger is good. Anger for justice and law is good. Many wars and
fights have started because of an unchecked tongue. If all people of this
world controlled their tongue, this world would be a peaceful world. People
of this world today do not understand the importance of self-control and
selfless giving. If we all would just try to get along together, the world
would be a much better place to live. If we were a “God” loving people, this
world would be one of peace.
Instead of thinking things out, anger causes us to speak out without thinking
first. This causes the worlds that come out of our mouth to be unpleasant.
You talk faster than you thinking, causing what you say to be mean and you
regret what you said after you have said it. It usually is too late once you
have said it.
You say things that you really don’t mean. When you yell at your friend and
say mean things, you really don’t mean that you hate your friend but the
emotions of the moment get the better of your tongue.
You should not let anger control you.
When we speak in anger without thinking we hurt people, even people we love.
Speaking in anger is one of the most ignorant things we can do to others. To
form an opinion or belief out of anger is irresponsible.
Most of the time people regret what they said in anger.
It is a challenge to control your temper and keep your mouth shut.
We say things we really don’t mean.
In anger you say things that you would not normally say. You are much ruder
than normal and horrible things are possible.
People need to stop and think before they speak, because things people say
effect other people.
If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say any thing.
