It's almost over! The year has just flown by. It seems like these 23 kids entered my classroom just last August as 2nd graders. Now they have have grown to almost 4th graders! They have learned to show respect, take responsibility for themselves, and put forth LOTS of effort. I'm going to miss them greatly.
We cleaned out our desks and lockers, so if you didn't see a ton of papers come home, ask your students what they did with all their stuff! You might have also noticed a new pink pet come home. I believe the students really enjoyed making paper mache pigs.
Monday, we will be tiding up the room and doing some last minute cleaning out. We will have our rootbeer float party, watch Charlotte's Web, and enjoy an hour of inflatables provided by community club.
Tuesday is Field Day. Our team color is purple so find a purple t-shirt! We will be in the gym or outside all day. Please put on that sunscreen before school!
I have put all the pictures that I have taken this year on a CD. Look for it to come home on Monday. Just e-mail me if there is something wrong with the CD.
Enjoy your summer, and thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your student's life for the past school year. I hope we made some good 3rd grade memories together. Looking forward to seeing them in the hall as 4th graders.
Happy Summer!
