Homework Policy

Our Grading Scale:

94-100 A

86-93 B

76-85 C

70-75 D

69 below F

Late/Incomplete Assignments

An assignment is considered late if it is not available when due.

An assignment is considered incomplete if questions are left unfinished

Parent signatures are considered the student's responsibility and will be counted as incomplete work

Upon completion, the late/incomplete work will be reduced one letter grade.
Students will receive a zero if the late/incomplete assignment is not completed and turned in by the next day

However, students will still be expected to complete the work.

Consequences:

After accumulating five late/incomplete papers, in a nine week period, students will be given an after school. detention and a detention for each late/incomplete paper thereafter up to ten.

After ten late/incomplete papers students will lose all privileges for the quarter.

If a student chooses not to complete ten papers, a student/parent, teacher conference will be required.

Incentives:

Students may attend the 4th grade reward party if they have no more than one late/incomplete paper for the quarter,

and they are passing all subjects.
