7th Grade Literature
This week we are reading chapters 9-13 in THE WATSONS GO TO BIRMINGHAM.
We will be reviewing vocabulary, and studying antonyms, determining word
meanings, setting, personification, symbols and foreshadowing.
7th Grade Advanced Literature
We began a mythology unit last Thursday. Students chose a Greek god
or goddess to research. Research projects will be due November 24.
We will read the origin of the seasons myth this week.
We will be in the computer lab on Thursday, Friday and next Monday to work on
our projects.
6th grade reading
We will watch the movie THE DEVIL'S ARITHMETIC on Monday and Tuesday. On
Wednesday we will begin the story excerpt of MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN. We
will test over this story next Monday.
