About The Teacher

Hello!  I am very excited to start another school year at Mayo!  This will 
be my 16th year of teaching at Mayo, and I love it!  I enjoy spending time 
with my students and getting to know them as individuals.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana State University and am 
currently working on my Master's Degree at Eastern Illinois University.

My husband Troy and I have two wonderful daughters who are 14 and 7.  We 
also have a cat named Gatsby,an active miniature Dachshund named Jazzy, and 
a "mutt" named Maggie.

I love to read, scrapbook, watch tv -- all whenever I can find the time!

I would like all students to leave my classroom well-rounded, not only as 
students, but also as individuals.
