As part of first quarter work, we are in process of checking accuracy on
addition and subtraction facts. You would be helping your child if you
spent some time helping them brush on the these basic facts. If addition
and subtraction facts seem to be solid, they might consider working on
multiplication and division facts (that will be included in second quarter
work). They need to know answers without taking time to count on fingers.
They are checked with timed test.
Fifth hour is doing multiplication first quarter.
