Wednesday, December 16, 2009 The food is piling up more and more every day. So far, Mr. Looby's homeroom has brought in 65 items and Mrs. Hill's homeroom still has 12 items. Mrs. Keasler just entered the race with 61 items. Ms. Evers has 33 items and Mrs. Hull has 3 items. Ms. Leslie is still holding strong with 34 items and Mrs. Sombroske's homeroom has 4 items. Come on 6th graders, bring in your non- perishable items! Remember, the homerooms at each grade level with the most food at the end of the week will win a pizza party. The next Builders Club meeting will be on Thursday after school. 7th Grade Boys Basketball tryouts are today after school. 8th Grade Boys Basketball tryouts are Thursday after school. TRIO will be meet Thursday this week. Science club will meet today after school. The Mentor program UIC basketball game is today for those who signed up. You must be here at school by 5:15 to load the busses. Don't forget, you cannot stay after school until the UIC busses start loading. You must go home after school and then come back at 5:15. Don't forget, eveyone needs an ID for the field trip. If you need an ID, stop by the office before Friday morning to purchase one. They are $5 each. The final days are here to purchase your Mentor Stocking Raffle tickets. Tickets are 50ยข each or 3 for $1.00. The drawing will be Thursday afternoon.
