By the end of Chapter 7 you should be able to:
-Describe the characteristics (strengths & weaknesses) of the British and
American military forces at the start of the American Revolutionary War.
-Identify the main reasons why the Continental Army was able to defeat the
British in the American Revolutionary War.
-Explain the main agreements reached in the Treaty of Paris.
-Define: Revolutionary War, mercenaries, strategy, Hessians, ally, guerillas,
treaty
-Identify key people from the Revolutionary Era and their contributions.
Note-taking and research skills will be developed. Students will present a
project based on a topic of their choice.
