MATH PROGRAM:
Materials will be avaliable for daily reinforcement/enrichment of math operations, concepts and problem solving including:
place value
operations
graphing & map skills (social studies/geography)
time & measurment
fractions, decimals & percentages
money
stock market - grades 5-8 (social studies/economy)
geometry
algebra
current events involving math physics & statistics - grades 4-8 (social studies)
LANGUAGE ARTS PROGRAM:
The skills and knowledge of Language Arts are essential for student success in virtually all areas of our cirriculum. They are also central requirements for the development of clear expression & critical thinking. Language Arts includes the study of literature, the development of skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. This includes:

The goals of social studies are for the students to analyze comparative political economic systems, events, trends, personalities & movements shaping the history of our community and the state of Illinois, the United States & the World.
