P.L.A.I.D. ACADEMY 2009-2010 SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
 
Note:  Uniform shirts are available through Lands End Catalog and at www.landsend.com.  The school logo is available for embroidery on their school uniform clothing.  The P.L.A.I.D. Academy school number for Lands End is 900045980.
 
Field Trip Uniform:
 
Boys/Girls:
  • Shirts:  Black polo with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it.
  • Pants:  Gray dress pants/chino pants
  • Shoes:  Black dress shoes
  • Belt:  Black
  • Sweater (optional):  Red sweater with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it.
Optional for Girls:
  • Heather Gray Mesh Polo Dress with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it.
  • Knit Jumper in Charcoal Heather with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it and a white collared shirt underneath.
  • Gray skirt or skort.
Regular School Day Uniform:
 
Boys/Girls:
  • Shirts:  Any polo shirt MUST have the P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it.
  • Shirts:  or any button-down dress shirt.
  • Pants:  Any color dress pants.  Uniform shorts may be worn in Sept & June.
  • Shoes:  Gym shoes with ties or velcro.  No slip-on shoes or heels for safety reasons.
  • Jackets/Sweaters:  NO hoodies/jackets/sweaters may be worn in class unless it is a P.L.A.I.D. Academy sweater with a logo on it.
Optional for Girls:
  • Girls may also wear skirts of any color but, must be no shorter than above the knee length or knee length!
  • Dress may be worn but must have sleeves.
Gym Day/Casual Field Trip Uniform:  (can be ordered through Lands End)
  • Shirts:  Athletic tee in gray with P.L.A.I.D. Academy logo printed on it.
  • (optional) Jacket:  Athletic Jacket in black with P.L.A.I.D. Academy logo printed on it.
  • Pants/Shorts:  Athletic pants in black
  • Swimsuit:  Girls Y-back Tugless Tank in black and Boys Jammer Swim Trunks in black with P.L.A.I.D. Academy logo printed on it.

Any accessories and hair do's CAN NOT be a distraction to the classroom.
