How is my child doing in class?

How much homework is expected in fourth grade?

Depending on the week, about 45 minutes of homework is expected daily. 
Fourth graders should be independent reading at least 25 minutes every 
night.

What is acceptable for 'fruit break'?

Students are to bring a healthy snack for our daily fruit break. Some 
suggestions would be: fresh fruit or vegetables, crackers, cheese, yogurt, 
granola bars, or cereal.

Is late work accepted?

Late work is always accepted, but there is a grade reduction for the 
assignment.
