4th Grade: Fourth graders are learning the touch method of keyboarding. The
more they practice, the better they will become. The program we use, Dance
Mat Typing, can be accessed from my links page. Encourage your child to use
good posture, proper fingering, and to keep his/her eyes on the monitor.
6th and 8th Grade: Due to the nature of the class, homework is generally not
assigned. However, there will be about 3 critical writing assignments due
during the quarter. As these papers make-up 40% of the quarter grade, I
highly encourage the students to have their work proofread at home.
I am available most mornings beginning at 8:00 and after school until 4:00.
Students should request a pass from me the day before if they wish to see me
at 8:00.
