Homework Policy

There will usually be a daily assignment which is due at the beginning of
the next class meeting. This is the nature of a math class. All work is to
be done neatly in pencil on loose leaf paper with all work shown and
complete. Remember, the process of getting the answer is just as important
as the answer. Be sure to keep all graded assignments in your math binder
and do not throw them away. You will need to refer to them again and
again. Tests and quizzes will be collected at the end of the quarter.

There will be no credit given when work is not shown so be sure to
show it the first time. Show problems and all work on the left and the
answers on the right. If you do not have an assignment to turn in, please
turn in a “no homework” slip stating this with your name on it and the name
of the assignment. Corrections can be made on homework in order to receive
½ the missed points back. This can be done on completed papers only. It
would be better however to check all work for accuracy ahead of time. Ask a
parent to help you or use a calculator. If you need to know an assignment
you can call a friend in your class or check this homepage.

   ***Consequences for no homework.
You will be allowed 2 late papers per quarter. This is a very generous
policy. After that, no credit. That’s right NONE!!! Real life has
deadlines and so does PBL Jr High. Friday night school is available for
those who don’t do their work. A detention s gven after 3 zeroes.
