After graduating from the University of Illinois in 2004, I took a position
teaching high school English for two years. This year is my third year
teaching here at Paxton-Buckley-Loda Junior High and I love it! I get to
teach some of my favorite books, like "The Outsiders" and "The
Diary of Anne Frank". Every Monday afternoon I drive over to Illinois State
University where I am pursuing a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy
Learning.
