What should my child study at home?

Your child should study their Math facts and Spelling words daily. Be sure
he/she is reading daily!

How can I help my child study?

Develop a daily study routine and stick to it. Set up a place in the house
where your child can do his/her homework.

How often should my child read at home?

DAILY!!!!!!!!! Children become successful readers by reading every day.
Your
child should read silently, read aloud, and be read to by adults. When you
read you set a great example!

How should my child study their Math facts?

Flash cards are a great tool to use for memorization of Math facts. Computer
games such as Math Blaster are great, too! Children need to master their
basic facts to help them with math computation.

What should I do if my child is absent?

Please call the office at 239-2550, and explain why your child is absent. I
can put together a packet of all information that was taught for the day.
You may pick up the packet in the office or request that it is sent home
with
another child.

Where do I pick up my child after school?

You may park on the North side of the school. When all students are
dismissed, they will walk to the north end of the school for pick up.
Do NOT park on the East side of the school, this is for bus pick up
only.

What kind of birthday snacks are allowed at school?

We allow store bought and home made snacks brought in for birthdays and
holiday parties.

Am I allowed to sent birthday invitatios to school?

You child can bring their invitations to school ONLY if there is one for
each child in the class. If you are having a party with a limited number of
invitations, please mail the invitations. This helps to aleviate any
potential hurt feelings.

What if my child's birthday is in the summer?

Your child can celebrate their "unbirthday"!
