Hi. I'm Kelly Nestler. I graduated from Western
Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education and Middle School endorsements in Langauage Arts,
Science, and Social Science. I am currently a fourth grade
religious education teacherat St. Mary's Church in Durand.
In 2006, I began teaching at Pecatonica Elementary.
Prior to coming to Pecatonica, I taught 2nd grade at
Shirland School in Shirland. I have also taught 4th grade
at Riverview School in South Beloit. I love working with
kids of all ages.
I have a wonderful husband named Ryan. He teaches 6th
grade math at Byron Middle School. I have a son, Andrew,
in 5th grade. He is a very curious boy who loves to
work with his hands and figure out how things work. I
also have an8 year old daughter, Chloe, in 3rd grade. She
is full of energy and is a very social little girl! I also
have a 1 year old daughter, Lily. We moved
to Pecatonica in 2005, and love living in a small
town. My husband grew up in a small town, Aledo, and feels
as though small towns are the perfect place to raise a family.
I grew up not too far from here, in Rockton.
