"Bee"ing Green
(Click to hear "It's Not Easy Being Green") "It's not easy being green", but we will sure be trying this year as we "BEE" Smart and "BEE" green! Below are some tips and web sites to help us care for the Earth.
Walking or riding our bikes when we can instead of taking the car. Turning off lights when we leave our classroom or rooms at home. Turning off computers when we are not using them. Unplugging toasters or chargers when they are not in use. Planting a tree. Picking up litter. Taking a shorter shower. Replacing our lightbulbs with "curly" bulbs. Taking a tote bag to the grocery store to carry groceries. Using the backs of papers. Bringing a lunch box instead of paper bags. Turning off the water while brushing our teeth. Reducing Reusing Recycling-we have started a recycling program at Pioneer School.
