Preparing for Edgewood... Using Your Agenda

 

One of our class goals will be organization. It is important for you to use your agenda to record all homework during the school day. To encourage the development of this skill, daily homework assignments will not be posted on our website. Please check the "Photos/Docs" page for all long-term assignments and project information. Also, check out the "Calendar" page for important dates.

Journal: Today your received your personal journal.
Remember the three rules:

1.) You need to write in your journal at LEAST 3 times each week. (Please put the date at the top of each entry so it is easy to locate the three weekly entries.)

2.) You can write about anything! This is a chance for you to just enjoy writing and try out different genres. (Please remember that it needs to be school appropriate.)

3.) When you turn them in to be checked each Friday, I will not read the entries unless you give me permission. It is your choice if you would like to share your entries. (I will flip through your journal on Friday to make sure there are three entries.)
