General Information

• Tests may be essay or objective. A test will be given after each major unit. Ample warning will be given.
• Quizzes may be announced or unannounced.
• Journals and notebooks can be graded at any time.
• All papers, presentations and other assignments must be on time on the date due. Written work is due at the beginning of class. Any work handed in late drops one grade per day.
• The English department makeup policy is as follows:

Students make arrangements in writing for all makeup work and tests with the teacher within two days of her return or no credit will be given. 

Work received after the agreed deadline will receive no higher than 69%.
