I earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
After college, I enjoyed a long and rewarding career in the technology
industry, first as a product development engineer, and then in various
marketing and management positions.
More recently, hoping to inspire kids to share my love for math, science and
technology, I went back to school to receive my teacher certification.
I live in Evanston with my wife, Margaret, and our two sons, Ian (18) and
Evan (8). My hobbies include reading, travel, hiking, food and music.
To bring science concepts to life using real-world examples, demonstrations
and experiments. Physics is the foundation for all the other sciences, and
helps explain much of what we observe on a daily basis. My aim is to make
physics fun and understandable for everyone.
