Mission For The Class

A.P. Chemistry - to experimentally investigate and master the topics in the
National first year college Chemistry curriculum as set forth in the AP
Chemistry Curriculum Guide. These topics include intra- and inter-molecular
bonding, stoichiometry, thermal chemistry, kinetics, equilibria ( gas phase,
acid base & solubility),electrochemistry, thermodynamics, organic functional
groups and nomenclature, solution chemistry, atomic structure and Periodicity

Honors Chemistry- to provide a laboratory-based, quality-driven, inquiry
approach to High School chemistry, including its mathematical backbone. Lab
work is the core foundation of the program and written lab reports are a way
for students to communicate their insights and undertanding. The course is
designed for those who plan to pursue scoience or science related careers and
who can cope with the rigors of an accelerated pace and and a more intensive
mathematical framework.
