Course Description/Objectives:
Design and Materials II is designed to help refine the creative and
technical skills begun in Design and Materials I focusing specifically on
the techniques/skills vital to any future professional. The class will
enhance the student’s ability to communicate in a creative, useful and
aesthetically pleasing manner. This course will also help students gain an
appreciation for and understanding of various forms of communicative art
present in their lives. Students will also gain experience in the
critiquing process – by assessing and articulating thoughts about their own
work as well as others in a thoughtful and constructive manner.
