Power Strip or Surge Suppressor

What does a surge suppressor do?
It takes the incoming power surges and spikes and sends them, or shunts them away from your equipment, preventing damage or glitches in the performance.

Select a high joule rating.
A joule is a measurement that refers to how much energy the surge suppressor can channel away from your equipment. Generally a higher joule rating is better.
