When are you available for help?

Miss Ernst is available for help every morning from 7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. 
She also is available for help after school every day except Thursdays 
(starting in October) when there is Mathlete practice.  It is best to try 
and schedule an appointment in advance.

Does the math department have a tutoring program?

Yes.  With the new Academic Resource center, there are staff available before
and after school and by appointment in room 201B.  
There are also students available to help tutor algebra, geometry, algebra II,
trigonometry, and pre-calculus.  The names of peer tutors will be posted on
Miss Ernst's bulletin board and in the hallway.

What is Mathletes?

Mathletes is a competitive math team for students who have a high aptitude 
in math and enjoy working out math problems for fun.  Mathletes is open to 
students in 9-12 grade.  The team practices after school on Thursdays from 
2:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., October through April.  The Regional and State 
Competitions are the two major events that Mathletes prepare for throughout 
the year.
