Miss Ernst is currently in her second year as a mathematics teacher at
Regina Dominican High School. She has a B.A. degree in Mathematics, a minor
in Physics and Secondary Education Certification from St. Norbert College in
De Pere, Wisconsin. Currently she is working on her masters at Dominican
University in River Forest. In addition to teaching Algebra I, Geometry, and
Pre-Calculus, Miss Ernst moderates mathletes and coaches the sophomore level.
Miss Ernst wants all of her students to reach their personal best in her
mathematics classes. She wants students at Regina to feel confident in
their mathematical abilities and to see math's beauty and importance in
their lives. She hopes that students can find and understand how math is
integrated into our everyday lives and that its applications are numerous, and
in doing so find a new and greater appreciation for math in the real world. :)
