and responsible women. Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated, and any
violations will be subject to the consequences state in the Student Handbook.

Classroom Expectations:
Students are to bring their notebook to class DAILY. Your notes should be
organized by chapter and date. Notebook assignments should be identified by
page number. Homework will be assigned on a daily basis. Each collected
assignments will be graded and given a predetermined point value. No late
homework will be accepted.

In order to ensure success, it is important that students attend class on a

to make- up any missed work. Students will have as many days as her absence
to make-up class work, tests, quizzes, etc.

Students who are absent only on the day of the test or quiz will be required
to take test or quiz on the day of her return to school. Missed tests and
quizzes will receive a grade of ZERO.

If a student is absent for an extended period of time, the family should
contact the school to make arrangements for missed work.

Students are expected to be in class and to be seated prior to the ringing of
the second bell. Students are expected to bring a positive and respectful
attitude to each class.

Students are to keep all cell phones, MP3 players, iPods, etc in either their
backpack or their lockers. The cell phone policy will be strictly enforced.
Students are to leave their backpacks in the back of Room 306 as they enter
for class. It is important that they do not serve as a distraction or
hazard.

Grading:

Quarter grades/percentages will be calculated using the following formula:
Total number of points earned by the student/Total number of points possible

Semester grades/percentages are calculated using the following formula:
