Thank you for providing snacks today for a well deserved break from our hard
work in reading on our Roald Dahl author study. I am thrilled at the
progress I am seeing in fluency, comprehension and writing skills with the
workshop approach of our reading called the Daily Five. The students love it
and often ask to do it.
Also thank you for providing the canned goods for the food pantry. Your
participation has been wonderful and we should have a school total soon.
Everyone has been working together to make this a successful and worthwhile
project. I am particularly pleased with my students as they are contributing
out of the kindness of their hearts and an internal reward of knowing they
are doing the right thing. Again, I appreciate your continued support and
help in all areas of your child's education!
We are continuing to collect box tops. Please send them in if you have them!
Remember there is no school on the 25th and we
resume on the 30th. Have a relaxing and bountiful Thanksgiving!
