There will 72 scouts and 8 adults representing the Blackhawk Area Council.
Interested Scouts or Scouters must fill out this online application, print it after sending it off via e-mail and send it in to the council office with a $100.00 deposit by December 31, 2008.
There will be an interview process and Scouts interviews will be in November, 2008.
Adult interviews will be October 21 & 22, 2008. Check out the Blackhawk Courier or this website for more information.
Youth Protection
Our Scout’s safety is our first concern. It is a BSA requirement for ALL adults who participate in the Scouting program, whether you are a registered leader or parent, doing any Troop activity or even driving, we need you to complete the Youth Protection Training. The online course takes about 15-20 minutes to complete before we can allow you to participate.
If you are a New Leader, you should also take the Fast Start training online at this website.
All completed training certifications and training courses need to be forwarded to Mr. Bill Pickett at
bill.pickett@eacemr.com so he can enter them in the Troop database.
