Parents, You are welcome to send in an afternoon snack for your child. We eat lunch at 12:20, which makes for a long morning. The snack should be healthy and take no more that 5-10 minutes to eat. We have told them to avoid liquids, candy, chips, fruit snacks, and chocolate covered snacks. The class discussed what is healthy and will hold them over for the afternoon. Below are some ideas we came up with. Thanks! Mrs. Betke Baggie of dry cereal Fresh fruit or vegetables Granola bars Crackers, Goldfish Sandwiches Bagels Raisins Slice of Bread Sunflower seeds Be creative, but healthy!
