About The Teacher
I have taught in District 20 since 2003. I grew up in a small town, Genoa, which is about 40 miles west of here. I am a graduate of Western Illinois University and recently obtained my ELL certification from National Louis. Currently, I am a student at NIU and working towards a Master's in Literacy Education. I have one cat, Rahja, who is the best! In my spare time I enjoy working out, shopping, traveling, going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends.

Mission
My goal is to get all my students excited about language arts and reading. Students will gain knowledge about grammar and gain effective reading and writing skills.
