About The Teacher

    Here are a few things I would like to share with you about myself. This 
will be my eighth year teaching at St. Agnes, but I have been in education 
for over 30 years. My degree is in elementary and special education. I have 
a masters in education from Olivet Nazarene University. 
My experience has included teaching grades 1-4 and primary special 
education. I was director and owner of my own preschool and daycare center 
for 10 years. Needless to say I have had many years of experience; St. Agnes 
has been one of the best. 
The past five years we have been changing classes in grades 2-4 for English, 
social studies, science, and math,and found it to be very successful. I 
teach science to grades 2-4, and I can honestly say I enjoy coming to school 
every day. 
I am married and have four children, ages 18, 20, 28, and 30. This past 
spring we welcomed our first grandchild, Charlotte into our family. I am 
very blessed. This fall my youngest daughter left for college, so we have 
become "empty nesters." My husband is a dentist in Chicago Heights, and we 
live in Olympia Fields. We belong to St. Agnes Parish.

Mission For The Class

My mission is to find out how every child learns best and provide academic 
experiences that will lead to academic success. In addition I 
hope to foster their Catholic faith as they prepare for the sacraments of 
Reconcilliation and First Communion.
