Reading- Vocabulary Quiz on Ramona Quimby, Age 8 & Through Grandpa’s Eyes on
Friday November 20th.

Social Studies- Ch 4 Study Guide will be completed in class on Thursday and
be brought home in the Study Sheet Envelope. It must be turned in on the
test day (Tuesday November 24th…the day of conferences).

Spelling-Unit 11 test on Friday Nov. 20th. Printed 5x’s each with a heading
on loose leaf is also due Friday! Please remind your child to write the unit
number in the heading. Many students are forgetting to do the 5x’s each
lately. Please encourage them to get these turned in ASAP!
No Test or 5x’s each for next week. We will cover Unit 12 in those two short
days. It is a review of words covered in Units 7-11.

Religion – Many students did not turn in the Church Year poster that was
their “test” grade for chapters 6-7. They should have created a small
(8.5x11) poster showing the 6 seasons of the church year. Please make sure
your child has completed and turned this in.
***Ch. 8 Open Book Test is Tuesday November 17th. Books will come home today
to study.

Social Studies
Gr. 2 – The graded Unit 2 tests will come home to be signed when all absent
students have returned and taken the test. I will try to let the students
see their scores during class this week, if time permits. Corrections and
signatures are due the very next day, so please watch for this test to come
home. We will be working on map skills this week. There will not be new
vocabulary until after Thanksgiving.

Gr. 4 –Students should be practicing the 15 vocab terms for Ch. 4. The quiz
will be on Tuesday Nov. 17th. We will complete the Ch. 4 study guide in
class today. The test will be on Thursday November 19th. Graded tests will
come home on Friday to be signed and have corrections made as long as all
students are present on the test day. Corrections are due on Monday…NO
EXCEPTIONS and must have the page number from the book where the answer is
found…not the number from the study guide. Thanks!
