Reading Update for Grades 5,6,& 7th 11-24-09
Grade 5 In Reading, the students have chose to read the novel Holes by
Louis Sachar. I have 10 copies in the classroom. Ms. Wegrzyn has about 5
copies. I will check with other students to see if we can use them.
In Social Studies, we are reading Chp. 4.The students have
their study guide.
REMEMBER THAT THE STUDENTS SOCIAL STUDIES BOOKS ARE ONLINE!
Grade 6 In Reading,we are reading Chasing Vermeer and literature from the
reading book.
We have a new Scholastice Book Club order it is due November 30, 2009.
REMEMBER THAT THE STUDENTS READING BOOKS ARE ONLINE!
Vocabulary: Chp 6 Please study the review test for Units 1-6 is Tuesday,
December 1, 2009.
Religion: Chp 8
Grade 7 In reading, the students are reading Black Duck for the 2nd
quarter book report. The second quarter book report is due Friday, December
4, 2009.
In their reading books we continue on the literature trail.
