Reading Update for Grades 5,6,& 7th 01-04-10
Grade 5 In Reading, the students are reading the novel Holes by
Louis Sachar and their literature books.
In Social Studies, we are reading Chp. 5 The Struggle of the
Colonies.
REMEMBER THAT THE STUDENTS SOCIAL STUDIES BOOKS ARE ONLINE!
Grade 6 In Reading, we are nearing the end of Chasing Vermeer and will
begin reading The Wright Three after the quarter ends. We continue to read
in our literature book.
The Scholastic Book Club orders are coming.
REMEMBER THAT THE STUDENTS READING BOOKS ARE ONLINE!
Vocabulary: Chp 9 begins.
Religion: Chp 9 continues.
Grade 7 We are reading The Calder Game in class. This book report is
due Friday, February 26,2010.
We read daily in our literature books also.
