Dear St. Agnes Families:
Today is Monday, November 2, 2009.
The following things are happening this week:
Tuesday, November 3 - There is no English Class for Grades 2 & 3 Due to a
Field Trip - see you on Wednesday.
Also on Tuesday, We celebrate and remember- The Day of the Dead
Wednesday, November 4 - Is October Incentive Dress Down Day
Thursday, November 5 - Mrs. Olley's Class presents at Mass
Friday, November 6th - Healthy Children - Healthy Choices begins!
In November we will be putting up our Day of the Dead Altar - Dia de los
Muertos.The children may bring in photographs of loved ones who have passed
to be placed on our altar. This tradition is similar to our All Souls
celebration. I wanted the students to have a special place to honor and
remember people who have been special in their lives. The names should be
printed - both first and last names, so that I can read them outloud during
our prayer service. Please be sure to mark a name on the photographs so that
I can get them back to you.
The Top Chef - Healthy Choices for Healthy Children. The starting date is set
for November 6th! The hospital is providing the students with pedometers and
other items to use on our year long journey to make healthy and smart choices.
My class will be doing the Reading, Intentions, and gifts at the Thursday
8:15 Mass. Please feel free to join us for Mass.

PLEASE NOTE - Books may go home daily in any subject, but it is up to the
student to return the books for daily classroom use. Quizzes may also be
given at any time to check retention of materials.
