First grade has been working very hard this month! The students have been reveiwing their letter sounds and have been learning all about how squirrels are preparing for the winter!

We are Ms. McNeela’s first grade class. We work together, care for one another, and try our best!
We are here to become better readers, writers and listeners. We are here to have fun learning new words and making new friends. We are here to prepare for our future!
We will accomplish this by being polite, responsible, and by helping each other. We will pay attention in class, always try our best and enjoy first grade!
This classroom strives to enrich each child spiritually, academically and socially. My mission is to celebrate Christ’s presence in the classroom so that children will achieve success in first grade and throughout their lives. I wish for each student to become a lifelong learner by growing emotionally, socially and academically in first grade!
