Did someone say SNOW!!
Winter is here and we are also in the season of Advent. We have worked on a variety of activities to help us with Advent. Every day a student gets to open a window on our Advent calender and gets a surprise of a small chocolate treat. We also are counting down to Jesus' birthday by keeping track of how many days are left. We are looking forward to our field trip to Nazareth High School to see the play,"Snow White". Mrs Gatch will be accompaning us as a chaperone.In math we have been working on subtraction and have learned how to regroup twice. We will finish subtract before Christmas. When we return, we will be starting Multiplication! Our carnivorous plants are taking a little bit longer than we thought to grow. So far we do not see any buds. Maybe the plants know something we don't know about the weather:) We will be choosing a Plant Sitter before we go on Christmas break so the plants will be nice and warm. Our All School Christmas Program will be on Dec 21 in church. Look for more details that will be coming home in the Tidbit. We will have a class Christmas party on Dec 22 in the afternoon. I have names of parents that signed up to organize and help with the party. I will be sending letters home soon. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
