About The Teacher

I am the proud product of a diverse educational uprbringing. I attended
public schools in Traverse City Michigan through 8th grade. Upon moving to
Chicago, Francis W. Parker School in Lincoln Park became my home away from
home during my high school years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree as
a
double major in Economics and Philosophy at Cornell University in Ithaca,
New
York. After one year of substitute teaching in Delaware, I returned to
Chicago to earn my Masters Degree in Education from DePaul University.
During my time at DePaul, I was introduced to the St. Ferd's community as a
student teacher in the middle school under the tutelage of Mrs. Betzolt. I
was hired as a full time teacher the following year and I am currently in my
second full year as a teacher at Ferd's.

I am a cubs fan.
