This week in Kindergarten
*This week we will be doing a study on pond life
We will: discuss the life cycle of a frog, learn about the different animals that live in the pond, and learn
the difference between a pond and a lake.
*In writers workshop we will write about our favorite pond animal, and explain why it is our favorite.
*In math we will continue practicing reading the clock, and learn about three-dimensional shapes.
*We will practice Down By the Bay, Sweet Home Chicago, and Jesus is Knocking at Your Door for our
spring show.
* This Friday Student Leadership is sponsoring a Support Wear Day. The students are able to come out
of uniform for $1 or more. The money raised will be donated to Reaching for the Stars, a foundation
that supports children with cerebral palsy
Summer Birthdays
If your child has a summer birthday, and they would like to celebrate before summer, please email me
and we can pick a day to celebrate.
Spring Show
We are all excited for the spring show, which is in the gym Wednesday, May 23rd at 1:45. Treats and
refreshments will be served after the show. Please check out with me and come back to the classroom
to get your child’s belongings before you leave.
