This week in Pre-K 4
-H is for Halloween.
-making witches stew
- playing hot pumpkin, making skeletons, and learning more Halloween songs.
-celebrating Will’s 5th birthday
-Guessing how many spiders are in our guessing jar
-Show-and -tell will be on Thursday and Friday.
-Pizza day that was scheduled for Friday, October 23rd is this Friday the
30th.
No School
Please note that PreK 4 will not be having school on November 5th for parent
teacher conference and 6th for teacher professional development day.
Barnes and Noble Day
-Come join the fun on Thursday November 6!
- Our classroom wish list will be in a
basket in the children’s section.
Clothes collection
St Josaphat parish is collecting clothes for the Christopher House on October
31 and November 1. They are in need of children's clothing, especially winter
items. If you are interested in donating clothes, bring the clothes to school
next week, and they will be delivered to church.
Halloween
We will celebrate Halloween this Friday, October 30. The school Halloween
parade will start at 2:00 so please come out and cheer us on.
Costumes - You can send your child to school dressed in their costume, and
any accessories should be in a bag, which will be put on for the 2:00 school
parade. We ask that children refrain from wearing masks.
Last Weeks Highlights
-Had a pizza making party on International Day. We made edible pizza and
cardboard pizza.
-Learned about Pinocchio
-Reviewed our p’ s and a’s
International Day
Thank you to all the parents that have donated food, their time, and
decorations for our little Italy. International night was a great success,
and I hope you enjoyed the evening with your family.
I am looking forward to seeing all the great costumes on Friday!
