: : : : Photo: About The Teacher Label: About The Teacher “Whatever you keep to yourself, you lose; whatever you give away, you keep forever!” -anonymous This quote has been my motto since my senior year in high school. I have taken it with me through the six years I was a swim coach, to college where I was my sorority President, and to where I am today, which is starting my third year, teaching at St. Josaphat School! Therefore, everything I do in my life, I do with passion and with excitement. I strive to “live life to the fullest” by exploring the world and taking lots of pictures. My classroom will be filled with pictures. Teaching is another way I share my gifts with the world. I feel that teaching is a very fulfilling career. It is something that challenges me, keeps me youthful, and gives me spirit! I graduated from The University of Dayton in Ohio with a degree in Middle Childhood Education with endorsements in math and science. I am very excited to use all the resources I have in my classroom. We will be doing many experiments using the lab equipment, using the math manipulatives, and many resource books. I would also like to share with you a little bit about my family life. My family is my rock. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. My parents are the most selfless and loving people I know. I also have three wonderful brothers; Nick (26), Roger (25), David (19). Growing up with three brothers has allowed me to become well rounded and strong-willed. I would not be who I am today without my family and their unconditional support. Education does not only involve the academics, but it also involves the development of the child’s values and beliefs.
