I have had the pleasure of being an educator for over 20 years. What I appreciate most about my work at St. Josaphat is the opportunity to work with virtually all of the students at some point in during their education. It is such a pleasure to share the excitement that learning how to read brings to children. What I have always loved most about teaching is connecting with students, and being there to facilitate those “a-ha” moments in learning, when everything just seems to come together for a student. I am so fortunate to be able to collaborate with dedicated teachers to give students the best opportunities possible to grow in their reading development. My husband Tom and I have been involved at St. Josaphat as parishioners for over 15 years, and our daughters are very happy to be students at SJS. Through our involvement, it has become very clear to us that St. Josaphat is indeed a uniquely warm and welcoming community. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful children. Mission Label: Mission My mission is to help all students know the joy reading can bring to their lives, so they will become lifelong readers.
