About The Teacher
This is my 9th year teaching 2nd grade at St. Josaphat's and I am excited for the year to begin with our new addition. We will all be working together to create a community of learners. This summer I took a class on literary Ireland and will be sharing some of my experiences in Ireland with the students. I read some great books, played tennis and spent time with my family. At the end of the summer I took a trip to the Northwest and enjoyed the landscape while we were whale watching and spotting bald eagles. It is such a beautiful part of the country. This year I will be working with the other teachers, Mrs. Johnson and Miss Leberer to collaborate and help make this a great year for all the second grade students.

Mission
The second graders will form a community of learners who are enthusiastic and responsible. They will treat each other with respect at all times. We will work together to create an environment in which all are welcome. As the year progresses the students will be challenged and encouraged to always do their best work. They will evaluate their own work and will make goals to insure that they are focused and have a goal to work towards. The second graders will support each other as they grow in their faith with the two sacraments they will be participating in this year.
