About The Teacher
Educator Profile: I am excited to begin my eighth year as an educator. This will be my seventh year at St. Josaphat School and I have enjoyed every minute of it! The SJS community creates a wonderful environment that supports my teaching career in so many ways. Ever since I was in elementary school, I have wanted to be a teacher and follow in my grandmother and mother’s footsteps. Family is extremely important to me. I was born and raised in Chicago, the youngest of three. My teaching style is based on the family values that have been instilled upon me. Since I am a product of Catholic education, preschool through graduate school; my goal is to encourage these morals and values in my teaching. It is my responsibility to provide the learning material for varying ability levels and learning styles of my students. Teaching to multiple levels becomes a requirement for me if all children are to be life-long learners. My students and I will learn from each other. I realize I do not have all the answers; however, I do know that I can utilize my students and my environment as tools to increase and maintain the best teaching atmosphere.
