Weekly Newsletter

==>	Reading (Miss DiNovo): Students will be reading the first chapter of The Native American 
Doctor and making connections in their double-entry journal.  They are expected to complete a 
comprehension activity of their choice for each chapter of the book.  The November book project is due 
on Monday, November 30th.  
==>	Reading (Mrs. Wolff): This week in Mrs. Wolff's class we will finish our work on Frindle. There 
will be a quiz on Tuesday.
==>	Math:  This week students will be estimating, adding, and subtracting with decimals.
==>	Science: In this short week, students will briefly review the ecosystems we’ve studied thus far – 
the rainforest, desert, deciduous forest, and taiga.
==>	Social Studies (Mrs. Huntington): We will begin to learn about the Southern region of the United 
States, and continue to work on memorizing states and capitals.
==>	Language Arts: Students will publish their persuasive essays.
==>	Spelling:  In lesson 12, students will review words from lessons 7-11.  The review week test 
will be on Wednesday.
==>	 Religion:  We will be studying the fourth commandment and will discuss how each of our 
families acts as a domestic church.
