Welcome to St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic School. The decision concerning your child's education is an important one. A strong academic program will nurture the skills your child needs to grow and flourish in the years ahead. St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic School opened its doors in 1961 with a mission of providing excellence in Catholic education for elementary school children. That commitment to quality education continues today as the number one goal of the school.

St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic School provides an environment conducive to personal, religious, and spiritual growth. We offer a strong academic program that provides your child with the necessary skills to help your child develop and flourish in the years ahead. St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic School provides a solid foundation for students in 4 year old preschool through grade 8. In addition to the basic core curriculum, St. Lawrence O'Toole School offers a sports program, band, foreign language for JH students, computer lab, a before and after school program, and a full and half day preschool and kindergarten program.

St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic School provides a veteran staff that is committed to going that "extra step" in giving care to the students. The students come from a variety of racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. The school is fully accredited with the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago.

St. Lawrence O'Toole School was recently named as a 2006 Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. We were one of 15 schools in the state of Illinois to receive this award. The Blue Ribbon School Award is given to private schools because the scores on national tests taken by the students are in the top 10 percent of the nation. St. Lawrence O'Toole School is proud of this accomplishment.
