I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social
Science. I also have a minor in Psychology. This is my
sixteenth year teaching and my eighth year at Saint Mary School. I have
been nominated for a Golden Apple Award in 1999 and 2005. I received my
official certification as a catechist from the Archdiocese of Chicago in June
of 2006.
To provide a warm and loving learning environment where children
feel comfortable and receive positive reinforcement. Children will succeed
in my classroom through play, hard work, and continued effort. I will
promote a positive Catholic image and insist on The Golden Rule for all my
students. Every child will know the necessity of good manners and respect
so that they can continue these behaviors in kind.
