What's Happening in Room 256 during the month of NOVEMBER??? PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE WORLD OF SECOND GRADE!!!   

 

We  have penpals from New York. We began the exchange of letters.  We received wonderful letters with pictures and special Halloween cards back!  We were so excited that we wrote right back!  We are taking part in a postcard exchange with schools all across the USA. Our first postcards were from Montana and Tennessee. We have mailed our postcards to everyone in the exchange.  We will be writing tongue twisters and sending them to twenty five schools.  They will be sending us tongue twisters too.  We will be making an ABC Book of Tongue Twisters. We will be sharing those that we've already received and working on ours soon.  We will also be taking part in a Flat Gingerbread Person exchange.  Our Gingerbread People will tell others about Illinois. This will be a good project for December.
